Tiny & Wild for Cloud9 Fabrics 18 Jul Written By Sue Gibbins Tiny & Wild by Sue Gibbins for Cloud9 Fabrics. A collection inspired by shy birds hiding in the vegetation, pollinators zooming around, dainty flowers with the most delicate details, and juicy fruits hidden in the hedgerow. Looking closely at nature is fascinating. As they say, it’s the little things that bring the most joy. A closer look at 3 of the prints from the collection of 8 on organic cotton: Forget-Me-Not (left), Wrens In The Ramsons (top right), and Bramble Ramble (lower right). Snack pouches (square for nibbles and round for bagels) created by me with Wild Strawbs and Meadow Picnic designs. Arty focaccia bread with tomato and olive “flowers” that I baked. The snack bags worked beautifully when I took some out on a long walk. Yummy! UPDATE: It’s wonderful to see the collection out in the world now. These lovelies in Bramble Ramble and Raindance are from Beeswax Fabric Wraps. Their eco-friendly products are fab and I use the wraps all the time as an alternative to cling film. Makes the fridge look pretty too! Image credit: Beeswax Fabric Wraps. A lampshade I created (my first ever!) for the dining room using Forget-Me-Not. I sewed some cases! Quilted ones for iPad and glasses, and a taco-style cable tidy. Prints are (from left to right) Ladybug Acrobatics, Forget-Me-Not, Bramble Ramble, and Stargazer.
